WHAT IS MOUV' ?

Part of Radio France, the national public broadcasting organization, Mouv’ is a French digital media platform and radio network focused on youth culture, music, and social topics, creating original content across radio, YouTube, and social media to engage with the generations.
BeginNing of the mission

After discussing with Mouv’ director, Mathieu Marmouget, I understood that the decision was between maintaining and strengthening Mouv’s overall brand identity, or redefining it by putting greater emphasis on the individual content formats, positioning Mouv’ more as a production platform.

I leaned toward the second option, drawing inspiration from current trends and strategies on social media.
STRENGTHENING THE COLOR CODING
I first identified the two main types of content on the channel : music and entertainment.

Then, I analyzed the color codes already subtly present, with the intention of reinforcing them and making the content easier to recognize at a glance.
I proposed solutions to strengthen these color codes on set, suggesting improvements to both the materials used and the intensity of the colors.
The goal was to bring Mouv closer to the visual standards of podcast formats commonly seen on YouTube, in order to create an atmosphere that immediately captures the viewer’s attention.
One identity for each SHOW

The current presentation, does not fully highlight the diversity and richness of the radio's content.
We can hardly comprehend the difference between each show.
So I redesigned the podcast visuals for each show, in order to create a distinct identity for each one,
by designing a flexible visual identity system that can be adapted to each show subcategory.
Instagram visuals

I also developed new visual approaches for Instagram, aiming to strengthen format recognition and ensure each type of content is immediately identifiable at first glance.
creating new format

I also proposed a new native format, “Mini-Clip,” based on the existing live performance format.
This was an initial concept, a rough draft, rather than a finalized visual.
Existing format :
The format was conceived with a strong and recognizable visual direction, allowing it to stand competitively within the current landscape of music performance platforms, alongside references such as COLORS and Booska‑P.
Unfortunately, the project was not able to proceed following Radio France’s decision to discontinue Mouv’.
